Biography

Attorney Heather M. Claringbole (formerly, Attorney Heather M. Jansen) focuses her practice on family law, which includes divorce, legal separation, child custody, physical placement of a minor child, child support, stepparent adoption, guardianships, and paternity. She is committed to providing her clients with quality, comprehensive legal guidance and representation.

Attorney Claringbole earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) at the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, Attorney Claringbole served as the Symposium Editor and as a Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review; she was a judicial intern for The Honorable Julie Genovese of the Dane County Circuit Court; she was a research assistant for Professor Donna Erez-Navot; and she worked as the Project Assistant for the Frank J. Remington Center's Family Law Project.

She is dedicated to serving the local community, volunteering her time for organizations like the Red Smith Sports Awards Banquet Scholarship Committee. When Attorney Claringbole is not practicing law, she loves spending time with her family and her husband. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, cooking, and traveling.
